Today is a fun day around here, for two reasons. One being my kids are back in school! I adore my trio of littles and the summer is something of dreams. But the manic and crazy days of winter break and the impending return to school turned my kids into legit monsters. The things nightmares are made of. They are in school, cramming their heads with knowledge and I am sitting in a quiet home. Today is a good day. It is also fun because here in blog land I am sharing my top 10 posts of 2015. Which means you get a crash course in the best of the best that Our house now a home has to offer!
I determined what the top posts were by looking at the most visited posts. I was happily surprised to see some of my favorite posts and projects that were chosen as the top. I guess we speak the same language of home decor because what I like, you all like. These top 10 posts of 2015 were the ones that were visited the most, also the majority of the ones that were commented on the most. They were all around big, and most took a lot of work on my part. I love the work on my home and projects I completed last year. Looking at these have me eager to jump start into creating for the new year!
All of these posts are great ones and I see why they were the most popular shared here on Our house now a home. I am always trying to improve my home in cost effective ways to bring style and function. These posts show that off perfectly. My top 10 posts of 2015 chosen by all of you and your traffic were the ones I would have picked if I had picked them myself. I was surprised there was not more of a surprise with them. No random curve ball of a popular posts I never saw coming. This year it seemed to be all about reveals, function, upcycles, and holiday decor. That pretty much sums up this blog, my home and my favorite things to share.
Last year was a wonderful year with a lot of exciting opportunities for me, new challenges and a whole lot of DIY! This next year I hope will bring all of that and more! I am currently working on three different projects and two small crafts. I better go and get back to DIYing while I have the house to myself. When the kids are away, Mama will paint, stain, use her glue gun and listen to 90’s music. Just how it goes around here!
Did you have a favorite post from here that stood out to you that did not make the cut? Have your kids started back in school?
