Colorful wood pallet garden bench, Homedit cotributing article

I am so excited to share this project with you all! With summer here, brightening up your outdoor space is a fun way to help ring in the summer fun. This colorful garden bench cannot get more bright and summer-like. I am sharing the full tutorial at Homedit. You can head over to Homedit, here.

Things have been so hectic here lately. We just got back from a week long vacation. I will be explaining it all here on Friday. I wish i could say there is no story, it was all sun, sand and fun. But, there is a pretty dramatic story. Me telling you all what happened will also help explain my slow project sharing in the next few weeks. I am so eager to get the laundry room/mud room done.  We have it along further than I have shared here. just need to organize it all before the grand reveal. I am also slowly incorporating more new ideas into my room. The room that has never been redone or even painted. The boy’s bedroom is coming together and their big, massive bed will be ready to share soon. So lot’s of happenings here, I just need to get it all together. Look out for the story of our vacation this Friday. It involves a tow truck, chocolate chip pancakes, and a big Victorian house.

But, today is about this beautiful bench I made and am sharing on Homedit. Head on over here and check it out! What is a way you are updating your outdoor space for summer? Any new additions to your porch or patio?

This is such a fun and colorful bench, perfect for summer and entertaining. I always see pallets on the side of the road with a free sign. I never knew you could do stuff like this with them. Maybe I will have to get one and see what I can create.

    1. Wood pallets are something I am always trying to get my hands on. This colorful bench is perfect for outside.

  3. I just love the bright colors!

    1. Me too! I don't think I would do this bright inside my home. But for outside it is fun and bright!

  4. This is so fun!! But dumb question…isn't it kinda painful just sitting on the pallet without a pillow??!

    1. Good question, I have not noticed a difference or felt it was too hard. Although just some casual seating and not long term has happened. I do plan to get some larger outdoor pillows for the back of this. To lean on the fence, which would make the sitting a little comfier.

  5. LUV it Emily!!!!!

  6. Great bench! Reminds me of the furniture made of old boats in Thailand. They are colorful but the paint is old and stripped a little.
