Today I have a lot going on here, but I am just pushing even more content and hopefully inspiration onto you. I am over at Homedit today sharing this DIY free standing mirror frame tutorial. It turned out so nice. I was nervous how the two tones of dark wood and white trim piece would work. But I think it added just what I was hoping for. Softening up the rustic look and creating a more contemporary rustic. The plan was to have this be in my room. But, it is currently sitting in my dining room on top of my buffet table. I move things around a lot. Go check this out, the steps were simple and I of course have lots of pictures to help along the process.

This is beautiful! I saw the picture on Instagram and assumed you were just sharing thetable decorations. I had not idea this was made. You are so talented.
Thank you! It is much more cost effective to make this them buy it. I am all about saving money!
This came out great, Emily! Can never have too many mirrors around the home 🙂
Thank you, this was my first mirror frame and I am hooked. I have my eye on my kid's bathroom mirror now.
Like how this turned out! Great job!
Thank you, I was nervouse about the white and dark wood stain. I am happy with it.
This is gorgeous, Emily!
Thank you Amy!
This looks great, Emily! One can never have enough mirrors in the house – they add such dimension to a room. Pinned and tweeted!
Thank you Sarah for the support!

Thank you so much! I will be linking up again.
Ooooooo I love it!!!!! Looks so good in the dining room! But it would look great anywhere 🙂
Thank you! It has moved around a lot already.
Love that mirror!!!!
Thank you!
This is gorgeous!
Thank you so much!
I don't think I would have ever thought to put that mirror on a table… great look!
I was not sure about it there, and my Husband was not liking it. But, he came around to it.
Ohh I love it! The color looks great! It is a great size as well! I love how the shape of the frame is rectangle as opposed to a larger square that people normally use on a dresser! The shape creates division and looks amazing!! Thanks for the great idea!
Wow, thank you so much for noticing all of that! I was hesitant to put it there because of the odd longer shape, but I like it there a lot now!
I love this! I think this would also be a great way to dress up one of those cheapo mirrors you buy from, like, Walmart. Great job!
Thank you! That is all this mirror was, a no frame, stand alone mirror. It was the low cost way of making it fancy.
This is really beautiful. I need to find some mirrors for around the house.
Thank you! I loved updating this mirror.
