Halloween/fall home tour

Halloween/fall home tour

My fall home tour! I told you all it would be here, and it is! I have some really fun and creative projects I am going to share. A lot of them will be seen in this tour. I will be doing a fall home tour after Halloween. This is the first portion of it, full of spooky things. The large bat picture above the mantle is one I created. There is two part to it. I am really excited about sharing this project!

This leaf art will also be a project I break down. I had some fun, using a toy container and turning this into fall artwork.

Leaf art! I got artsy one day.

The palette pumpkins are something Dale and I whipped up in one afternoon. I have seen a few of them around the interwebs. I decided to make a pair of my own. The tutorial will be coming. They are so bright and orange, I love them.

Break for some Teddy love.

These pillows I bought from Target. I was going to make something for my pillows, but fell in love with these. They are so fun and spooky, just what Halloween is about!

Who does not love these little woodland owls?

I figured out a way to halloween-ify my last few blooms of hydrangeas.

I created these glass vases with spider webs. It was interesting to figure out how to make the spider webs. I will be sharing the tutorial for these as well.

I got creative this time around. Thought a little more outside of the box. Let the fun and spooky shine through for my Halloween decor. I am really falling for natural, nature, and neutrals for fall decor. But somehow the fun and bright part of Halloween came out with this decor. It had a mind of it’s own. I was just here to make it happen. There will be some big changes in this mantel and other places in my home for just fall. I never really got all into Halloween decor before, it is such a fun thing to decorate for. I will be sharing my front porch soon. I have been dealing with a wonderful case of strep throat. It has knocked me down and slowed me down. So my productiveness has taken a big hit. The season wont stop, wont slow down. And my home is finally done!
What were some fun things you did to get your home ready for the season?
