With this being the first week of November I thought it was fitting to share a Christmas project….! I know, a little confusing. I am sharing a project from last years Christmas. It seems people are Christmas crazy already and figured I needed to jump on that bandwagon.
I have always been one to try and hold off on the Christmas cheer until after Thanksgiving. I honestly do not see myself doing that this time. There is too much pretty, stunning and magical that happens with Christmas. I am one of those people this year eager for any and every holiday spirit. I have the Christmas music playing, and have zero shame in my Christmas game. I found myself being nostalgic over my Christmas decor from last year.
This Christmas hanging wreath I made last year is my absolute favorite holiday project I have ever made. It is perfectly sized for my living room, traditional in color but modern in the fact that it is hanging from the ceiling.

I made this with a old barrel ring. I had a wine barrel in the backyard that broke. I saved these rings from it with plans to use it in the future. Inspiration struck in the way of a hanging wreath. It was a really simple project and one I adore.
I am getting into the holiday spirit, working away on some fun Holiday decorations, collaborations with other bloggers. I am not ready to share it all yet, I do not have it together that well. I have ideas, a few things cut and organized, a few things painted. But nothing done and ready to be shared.
Last years Christmas decor was magical, fun, whimsical and everything I was moving towards in my general home decor. This is a great reflection of that. I am daydreaming in woodland creatures, reds, greens, and many natural elements. Time to get my crafting on… “its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!”
When do you break out the Christmas decorations? Have I lost you all, you little Grinch’s who are not ready for Christmas? I have drawn the line, bring it on! 🙂
Your Christmas chandelier is adorable! Love it!
Thank you!
Now this is just fabulous. I can't believe I haven't thought of something like this yet!!! So copying you…pinning.
I was so excited when I made this, I think it is a great idea and have fun making yours!
That's super cute. Love the beautiful simplicity! And I've already been jamming to Christmas music this week!
Thank you! So happy to have a fellow Christmas addict!
I love the Rudolph picture in the back ground! I usually like to wait til after Thanksgiving to decorate, but I have three little kids and when the Christmas crazy starts, its hard to keep up. I am considering decorating early just to check it off my list! LOL!
Thank you! I understand about having it done, my kids are the same way with activities and school functions around the holidays.
That is STUNNING!!!! I definitely need to do this for this year. It's so traditional but very updated too. LOVE it! 🙂
Thank you! Have fun making your own!
So Pretty… I love this idea
Thank you so much!
Beautiful!!
Thank you!
We don't start decorating for Christmas until after Thanksgiving. I love the Christmas Spirit but I have a passion for those fall colors and being grateful during the month of November too. I love your idea as it is simple yet very festive
I know how you feel about the fall colors, they are gorgeous! It is so tempting for me to go all out now, I adore Christmas!
What a neat idea to hang the wreath from the ceiling. I think I will try that this year. We don't have a set date of when things come out, but usually after Thanksgiving.
Thank you!
This is so pretty! Such a unique and eye catching decoration. You are putting me in the holiday spirit.
Thank you! I am happy to help you get into the Holiday spirit!
This will be my second Christmas in my studio apartment and I've been ready to decorate for Christmas since summer. I'm busting out at the seams space wise so your wreath would be perfect for my home. I have nice high ceilings so I've started going up with everything since I can't go out.
Wow, your studio sounds great with those tall ceilings! This would be perfect for that!
WOW!!! This is spectacular!!!! I am making this for sure!
Thank you so much!
I love Christmas, it is my favorite holiday. But, I won't decorate until the day after Thanksgiving, I think anything sooner is just too early.
I try to hold off until then, this year I am feeling the Christmas cheer so early!
This is such a beautiful wreath! Christmas decorations really make a house beautiful!
Thank you so much!
That is *super* cute! Your tutorial makes me want to jazz up our dining room chandy for the holidays!
Thank you!
Oh, that is so pretty! I love the traditional look. It looks so Victorian. Great job.
Thank you so much!
I really love this idea! I want to do it above my dining table.
It would look great over a dining room table!
